01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground flaxseed or chia seeds, and salt. Mix well to distribute evenly.
02 - Add the peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the bowl with the dry mixture.
03 - Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and a sticky, uniform dough forms. Ensure no dry patches remain.
04 - Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
05 - Using a tablespoon or small scoop, portion out approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture at a time. Roll between palms to form 1-inch balls.
06 - Place the shaped bites on a parchment-lined baking tray. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow them to firm and set properly.
